Arginonda

The village of Arginonda is a scattering of houses in the pretty, deep, sweeping Bay of Arginondas. High mountains that provide dramatic scenery surround the bay.

There are just three tavernas in the village (the large one has live bouzouki music at weekends and hosts large wedding parties that can go on till quite late!). There is a kiosk by the beach, and the greengrocers and bakers vans call at the village on their way to Emborios. There are no banks or exchange offices, so money needs to be changed in Myrties or Pothia. The local bus service to Emborios, Myrties and Pothia runs four times a day.

The small, tamarisk shaded, pebble beach has sun beds and umbrellas for hire.

This small, very Greek village, provides the perfect 'get away from it all' holiday.
